Finally for a challenge that involves a little bit of pain…tattoos! Something we both adore. We had no tattoos when we first met, and promised we would grow old and tattooed and wrinkly together. We’ve got all of our tattoos done side by side, squeezing hands! So we both had a day off mid week and booked in a while ago to get tattoos- I booked in for a thigh piece, and Hannah was booked in for a tattoo she had no idea about! I designed it and came up with it and showed the amazing tattooist, who then did it amazing justice! And Hannah didn’t get to look until it was finally done! Talk about trust, right??

So I went first, and holy crap was it something scary. I’ve had a thigh tattoo before and it was painful- this was like triple that. After the outline and the colouring started, I began to tell hannah I couldn’t do it. She kept telling me it would be fine and I honestly nearly cried! But it was so damn worth it and it’s so gorgeous- take a look!

Worth it, right?? So once I was done, it was Hannah’s turn…she didn’t get to see the stencil go on, and she told me she trusted me but I saw nerves! But eventually, once it was finished, she turned to look and…adore it! Thank god, or I’d be dreading the time when she got to pick MY surprise tattoo! But she loved it, and it looks adorable, so I’m so pleased! There’s a video on our YouTube- check it out in the ‘follow us’ page! And here’s a picture of the finished product:

So cute! So I guess we both had a different challenge today, and both were scary in different ways!
